Birthdate:Jul 10
Charlene Roberta McGee, Charlie to her friends, is a woman in her mid-thirties with reddish-blonde hair and blue eyes. To all appearances, a pretty, professional, more or less normal woman.

Who can start fires with her mind.

You see, Charlie was born to two people who participated in an experiment in college; a government experiment involving a drug called Lot Six, intended to induce controllable psi abilities. While none of the results of Lot Six were easily predictable, perhaps the most unpredictable was that Vicky Tomlinson and Andy McGee -- who didn't know each other prior to the experiment -- would meet, fall in love, and get married. And have a daughter.

The full story of what happened to the McGees can be found elsewhere, but the long and short of it is: Charlie has been a pyrokinetic since infancy. And the government division known as The Shop, which was responsible for the original experiment, wanted her for study. Wanted her badly enough to kill her mother and spend the better part of a year chasing her and her father across the country.

I would love to tell you that Charlie and her father escaped them in the end. I truly would. But what happened to them you must read for yourself; and that tale ends more than twenty years before mine begins.

As of the year 2005, Charlie is living in Taos, New Mexico, where she runs a branch of the Tet Corporation.

Charlie McGee is from Stephen King's novel Firestarter, and is the property of sai King. She appears here solely for the purpose of role-playing in [info]milliways_bar, from which no profit whatsoever is being made.
Charlie's PB is Rebecca Riggs.
